Its perfect size, not too big, has thick rubber beating rod and has rubber under pad so it stays put when you use it. Solid.
My espresso maker give me some really solid pucks after using and I need to be able to knock them out. Well, I chipped my farmhouse sink doing just that. This has a tiny footprint on the counter and I am able to use some force because it can handle it. Just what I needed!
